Calling all Creative Foodies
Great Cuby Bake Off.
Cakes.
Scones.
Biscuits.
Calling all talented Bakers & Creators! Don your apron for the inaugural Great Cuby Bake Off, with an exhibit hosted in our Pop-Up Cafe at the CWA Hall! Our Judging Panel will decide who takes the cake in three categories - Cakes, Biscuits and Scones. Entries can then be sold by the piece and served with hot cuppas! All monies donated to a local community clubs.
ENTRY DETAILS
Entries welcome from people of all ages, creative abilities and dietary preferences.
Cost is $5 per entry. One per class per class.
PRIZES & CLASSES
Category 1: Cake: Open - Winner $100, Runner-up $25
Category 2: Scones: Open - Winner $100, Runner-up $25
Category 3: Biscuits: Open - Winner $100, Runner-up $25
People's Choice Award: Winner $75
Junior Baker Award (12yrs and under) - Cake, Scones or Biscuits: Winner $25
EXHIBITION
Entries will be showcased on Sat 14th Sept 2024 at the Cuballing CWA Hall, Pop-Up Cafe @ 189 Campbell St. 10.00am - 12.00pm.
Pop-Up Cafe open from 8.00am - 2.00pm

IMPORTANT DATES & INFO

Entries Open 1st July 2024.
Entries Close 4pm 13th September 2024.
Entry fees can be paid in person at the Shire Offices during office hours (cash or card) or cash only on event day.
Baked items must be displayed on a plate or board.
Baked goods with cream are unable to be on-sold and must be collected by the baker by 1.45pm.
Delivery of baked goods accepted in person to the CWA Hall, 183 Campbell St, Cuballing WA 6311 between 8am - 9.15am on Saturday 14th September 2024.

Unless notified otherwise all baked goods will be available for resale to the public as a fundraiser from 1pm.

Collections can occur after 1.30pm on Saturday 14th September 2024. Uncollected items will not be held.
