  • Is the festival family friendly?
    Yes! Cuby GrooveFest has a range of events - ticketed and free - for people of all ages. Find an event or activity for all the family here > Patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for entry in the licensed areas within our venues. Only juveniles accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult (as defined by s 125 (2)(b) of the Liquor Control Act) are permitted to enter and remain on the licensed areas. Section 125(2)(b) of the Liquor Control Act defines a responsible adult as: a person shall be taken to be a responsible adult if that person was an adult who is a parent, step-parent, spouse, de facto partner or legal guardian of the juvenile, or other person in loco parentis to the juvenile. Parents/legal guardians are also responsible for their children at all times at the Festival Campground.
  • Where are the nearest fuel, grocery and retail stores?
    Cuballing Roadhouse & General Store is located in the township at 121-125 Ridley St, Cuballing (08) 9883 6026, providing, a well stocked General Store, Take Away meals and Snacks, Post Office facilities and a Fuel Station. The Roadhouse is exceptionally well maintained and operated and we would love visitors to support this important hub. Opening Hours over the festival: Fri - 6am - 6pm Sat - 7am - 6pm Sun - 7am - 1pm Mon - 6am - 6pm Narrogin is a 10 minute drive to access Coles Supermarket, Bakeries, Independent Food stores, Hardware and Camping requirements, Retail stores, ATM's and multiple Fuel Stations. Trading hours may be limited over the weekend.
  • What is your policy on photography, videography and drones?
    No flash photography is permitted at ticketed events. Drones and independent sound systems are not permitted to be used at any time. Please Note: Cuby GrooveFest will have photographers, videographers and/or drone operators present. They will have official badging. No professional photography or video is to be taken by patrons during the event unless written authorisation has been received by Cuby GrooveFest. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to be included in any photography, film and/or sound recordings of the CGF or its surrounds and for these recordings to be used by us for any future CGF marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included in photography or recordings of the event, please advise the Event Organisers prior to attending your event (project@cuballing.wa.gov.au)
  • Is there parking available?
    There are designated parking areas within the Cuballing township enabling access to camping and events. Parking attendants may be utilised and festival goers are required to follow their instructions. You may have to walk a short distance.
  • What happens if the weather is poor?
    The Festival is an all-weather event. Friday and Saturday night events are hosted in a professional marquee. All events on the program will continue in rain, hail or shine unless the conditions are deemed unsafe to continue. No refunds will be made if you choose not to attend due to inclement weather.
  • Will you be checking ID?
    18+ patrons: Valid photo ID (a current Australian driver’s license, current passport or proof of age card) may be required at Ticket Office and Festival bars. A current Australian Driver’s Licence, current passport or West Australian Proof of ID card are acceptable for proof of ID.
  • When and where is the festival held?
    The Cuby GroovFest is held at Cuballing in the heart of Dryandra country from Fri 13th September to Sun 14th September 2024. Need further more information? See also How To Get Here and Camping and Accommodation options
  • How do I purchase tickets?
    All tickets are being sold online. You will be redirected to the TryBooking website to complete your ticket purchase. Ticket Link: https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1238750
  • What transport options are available?
    Our venues are located in a regional area and public transport options are limited. If you would prefer not to drive you can arrange a Taxi service from Crown Cabs Mansfield. They provide standard taxi, maxi van or a station wagon service. Phone: 1300 12 13 14 or (03) 9310 5422 You can also Book Online: https://www.crowncabs.com.au/book-taxi-online OR download the ‘Crown Cabs’ app from your app store.
  • Will there be First Aid on-site?
    Yes! The festival will have First Aid available at ticketed events. We recommend that you bring your own first aid kit in case of minor injury.
  • Are their toilets and showers available?
    Yes! Dryandra Equestrian Centre and the adjacent Recreation Reserve have toilets (including diabled) and showers. Toilets with disabled access are also available at the Skate Park. Toilets are available for patrons of the Cuballing Hotel (accommodation available) upstairs with bathroom facilities. Toilets are also available in the Agricultural Town Hall and CWA Hall during the day on Saturday.
  • Can I get a ticket refund?
    Cuby GrooveFest will only offer a refund if an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated by the Seller (and you cannot or do not wish to attend a rescheduled or relocated event), or to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law). All liability is limited to the amount for which the ticket was purchased (excluding fees or charges). You must apply for a refund prior to the original event that was to take place. CGF does not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of a change in your personal circumstances. Proof of purchase may be required for any refund or exchange.
  • Can I smoke at the festival?
    Ticket holders to the Friday and Saturday night events may smoke in designated outdoor areas. We ask that smokers in public areas be considerate of others.
  • What food and drinks are on offer and how can I pay?
    Yes! Family friendly street style food will be available for purchase at the Friday and Saturday night events, and the Saturday Makers Market. A pop-up Sports Bar will be available on Friday and Saturday. The bar will include a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Bottled water will be available. We try to ensure prices are affordable: Beer and Wine $6, Spirits $10 and Soft Drink/Water $3. This Bar will run on a ticket system - drink tickets can be purchased near the entry using eftpos or cash. Free water will be available on Friday adn Saturday nights at the Waterhole Kiosk for refills. Sealed water bottles may be brought into the festival. Select regional vendors of craft beer, wine and spirits will be on site at the Market day and evening events. Payment types to be confirmed. A Pop-Up Cafe will be running in the CWA Hall and Breakfast Canteen on Saturday and Sunday at the Dryandra Recreational Equestrian Park. The cafe will be accepting eftpos or cash. Campers are encouraged to bring along pantry staples - no outdoor cooking permitted.
  • How can I get involved with Cuby GrooveFest?
    VENDORS Cuby GrooveFest is putting on a 'glow' and we are looking for fantastic local, regional and metro stars to join us ! Calling all stallholders to showcase their artisan wares, craft swills, and delicious nosh! Muso's, Performers and Crowd-pleasers with the X-Factor - we want you too! PLEASE NOTE - Local and Regional Vendors will receive first priority. Accepted Stallholders entitled to On-site Camping at VIP prices!   • Is BYO alcohol permitted?
    No. You are not permitted to bring alcohol into any of the ticketed event areas. No beverage containers can be brought into the ticketed areas apart from sealed water bottles.
  • Is accessible seating available for the evening events?
    Friday and Saturday night are ticketed events that include standing room within a marquee. For those with access needs including wheelchairs, please email cubygroovefest@gmail.com with your accessible seating request. Please include the Event Name, along with your contact details and our team will be in touch.
  • Do you have particular Camping Terms and Conditions?
    Yes! Please see our Camping Terms and Conditions attached.
  • Where can I find accommodation?
    Cuby GrooveFest is a Stay & Play Festival! We offer ticketed camping within the township at various locations, primarily the Dryandra Regional Equestrian Park, and at nearby locations including Rosedale Farm and the Cuballing Golf Club. Other options include free camping areas, B&B's and hotels, including the Cuballing Hotel. Find out more about your accommodation options here >
  • What's On at the Cuby GrooveFest?
    Cuby GrooveFest celebrates three distinct pillars that enrich our community: Music & Performance; Art & Creativity; and Nature and Wellness.   • Will you be providng wrist bands?
    Yes. Upon entry you will receive a wrist band for proof of purchase. Please ensure you wear your wrist band for the duration of the festival. Lost or stolen wrist bands will not be replaced.
  • Are pets allowed?
    We know how much you love your pets and so do we, however pets are not permitted at the festival with the exception of assistance dogs.
  • Will there be Police and Security at the festival?
    Cuby GrooveFest will be working with Police in order to bring you a safe event. Police may be on patrol throughout the festival. It is the responsibility of all festival goers to abide by the law. Attendees should anticipate Police running normal Police operations such as highway patrols and random breath/drug testing. We ask that all attendees drive safe and do not drive under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Cuby GrooveFest will also have professional Security personnel on site at the Friday and Saturday night events and patrolling the Dryandra Equestrian Recreational Park and township camping areas.
  • What is the Festival Vibe and Values?

Our festival mission is to engage, entertain, unify and strengthen the fabric of our community through shared experiences of music, creativity, and nature.   • Is BYO food permitted?
    No - sorry. BYO Food is not permitted. Family friendly street style food will be available to purchase at each venue. Please see individual Hall lineups for more details.
  • What happens if I can't attend and would like to resell my tickets?
    All resale of tickets purchased online through Trybooking, and name changes, must be facilitated through our official resale partner TIXEL at this official website address: https://tixel.com/au/music-tickets/2024/09/13/cuby-groovefest-2024?landing=1 Cuby GrooveFest shall not be made accountable for fake or fraudulent tickets or scams with respect to ticket sales. Tixel is the only form of resale accepted by Cuby GrooveFest. Anyone wishing to buy a resale ticket shall request that the sale is facilitated through our official ticket reseller Tixel. If you wish to sell a ticket or buy a resale, please request this through Tixel.
  • Will their be bins available for rubbish?
    There will be bins available at various locations during the festival. Please use the bins provided and help keep our town beautiful. Campers please maintain your sites and adhere to a 'Leave No Trace' philosophy.
