Cuby GrooveFest 2026 is looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help create an unforgettable experience for our artists, campers and festival-goers.
Cuby GrooveFest is run entirely by volunteers, and it is a case of the more the merrier, and the lighter the load! We welcome all enthusiastic supporters, with varied roles before, during and post event.
No experience is necessary—just a positive attitude, a willingness to lend a hand, and a love of community. Whether you can help for a few hours or across the weekend, we'd love to have you on the team. Join us, meet great people, enjoy the festival atmosphere, and play a vital role in making Cuby GrooveFest 2026 a huge success.

What kind of support do we need?
1. Venue Crew
-
We are running four different venues across the weekend.
-
Being part of the venues team means making sure our event space is welcoming, clean, safe and fun.

Involves managing the site, cleanliness (rubbish collection), welcoming guests, handing out programs and working with the technical crew and announcers.
Ideal Volunteer Qualities
-
Venues volunteers are organised, have an eye for detail and enjoy interacting with different types of people.
2. Operations Crew
-
The operations crew has a big role in assembly and disassembly of sites either side of the festival weekend
-
May be involved in resolving issues and moving equipment during the festival weekend.

Includes logistics, electric and plumbing services, cleaning and waste, transport, vehicles and traffic control.
Ideal Volunteer Qualities

Operations volunteers are resourceful, hands on, practical and quick to think of clever solutions.
3. Customer Crew
-
This team works at the festival providing information to visitors, selling tickets and merchandise.

All our festival guests are welcomed to the festival and to Cuballing by someone from this team so a great first and lasting impression is important.
Ideal Volunteer Qualities

Customer service people are cheerful, adaptable, good communicators and confident with handling money and Eftpos machines.
