The Cuballing Art Prize is a biennial exhibition celebrating the creativity of our regional community.

This year the theme for the Cuby Art Prize is...

'Light, Love, and Laughter'

This theme is an opportunity for creatives to bring light into the room amidst challenging times across the globe.

NOTE: Entries may be be digitally catalogued for use in festival and local community promotions.

Entries welcome from people of all ages and artistic abilities. We accept works from all mediums*.

Entry Fees

Adults: $15 per entry

Youth: $5 per entry

under 16 yrs

Max 2 entries per person

Class 1. Painting - $500

Runner up $100 value

Acrylic/Oil/Watercolour

Class 2. Dry Media - $500

Runner up $100 value

Charcoal/Pastel/Pencil or other drawing medium

Class 3: Open - $500

Runner up $100 value

Any other medium not listed above inc. mixed

Class 4: Youth < 16yrs $150

Runner up $50 value

Open - Any medium

People's Choice Award - $300

Entries will be showcased on Sat 19 Sept 2026 at the Cuballing Agricultural Town Hall between 9am - 2.30pm.

Works may be offered for sale by the artists.*

IMPORTANT DATES & ARTWORK DELIVERY

Entries Open Wed 1 April 2026.

Entries Close 4pm Thur 10 September 2026.

Delivery of Entry forms and completed works accepted in person between these dates:

Tuesday 1 - Thursday 10 September 2026 (or by prior arrangement), to Arts Narrogin, Corner of Park and Fairway Street, Narrogin WA. Opening Hours are Tuesday -Thursday 10.00am - 4.00pm.

Digital submissions require online payment. Altenatively, download and complete the hard copy and return to Arts Narrogin - payment by cash or eftpos accepted on delivery of the works.

Provide the Title of your artwork/s AND a brief artist statement, describing the ideas behind each work and how the work/s relates to the theme of 'Light, Love & Laughter'. If you like, you can add details about the materials and any techniques used. TIP: For little kids a simpe description is fine :)

DISPLAY OF ARTWORKS

The layout of artworks is subject to the number and type of entries. Visitor flow, light and space will be considered. Artworks will be displayed with a label including Title, Artist Name, Description and Price if applicable.

IMPORTANT: For 2D works including paintings, drawings and photographs etc., please ensure D -rings/wires are attached for hanging, when delivering to Arts Narrogin.

ARTWORK SALES

Entrants are welcome to sell their Artwork/s at the Exhibition. Sales will attract a 10% commission donated to festival supporter, Arts Narrogin.
