Let's Party!
A collective of talent hits the stage on Saturday night with legendary homegrown artists.

It’s an attitude that’s been winning the Southern River Band fans across the globe, from those who flocked to the group’s recent run of UK and European dates to The Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins, who proclaimed the four-piece “a proper f**king rock band” after hearing their 2023 single, “Stan Qualen”.
Then there was the time Powderfinger vocalist Bernard Fanning slipped into their DMs to tell them he loved what they were doing, and that if they ever needed a place to record he had a studio in Byron Bay with Grammy-winning producer Nick DiDia (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen).
The Southern River Band took him up on the offer, spending 10 days in March recording Easier Said Than Done with DiDia at the helm. The 12-track album includes a song written by Bernard Fanning for the band, ‘No Such Time’. Easier Said Than Done and was released Oct 17 (the same week the band was announced as support for AC/DC) reaching number 3 on the ARIA Australia charts.
Beneath the lyrical humour, Kramer’s Herculean mullet, and the sweat-fuelled good-time antics of the band’s unreal live show is a group of four individuals – Cal Kramer is joined in SRB by bassist Pat Smith, guitarist Dan Carroll and drummer Tyler Michie– who take what they do very seriously.
You’ve just gotta see for yourself.

Fool Nelson are a red hot three-piece indie rock trio comprised of two brothers and their best mate. Hailing from Boorloo/Perth WA, they have quickly made a name for themselves, packing out venues with their
energetic live show and a knack for writing catchy tunes.
They’ve recently sold out every single capital city on their debut national headline tour, and set to support Skegss on their Australian tour.
Their most recent single ‘Don’t Feel Right’ was added to a plethora of editorial playlists on Spotify and
Apple Music, hit Top 100 Shazam Charts across Australia, was #1 Most Played on triple j for three weeks
running in January 2025 when added to full rotation, and the band were listed as triple j’s ‘Feature Artist’

their ‘Spotlight Artist’ around a previous release also added to rotation.
Previously they took out triple j Unearthed’s competition to play at the iconic Groovin the Moo. Their
two EP’s have a slew of editorial support at Spotify and Apple Music, and garnered support from Music Feeds, Happy Mag, AAA Backstage, music featured on ABC’s News Breakfast, plus music videos added to Rage.

across their jam-packed AU & NZ tour, and added in showcase sets at BIGSOUND along the way.
The band has nailed their position as support faves for Ball Park Music, The Grogans, Great Gable, The
Rions, The Moving Stills and Ra Ra Viper over the years, notched fests HYPER FEST, Out & About
Festival, Tone City Records Festival and NYE On The Hill.
Fool Nelson
Three-piece Indie rock band originating from Perth, WA, packing out venues with their emotive and nostalgic sound

Playing together since they were kids, the boys have polished their own unique brand of grungy and emotive music that focuses on big choruses and heavy-hitting instrumentation. Taking influence from the 90’s and early 2000’s rock that they grew up listening to, there is an air of nostalgia to Fool Nelson’s music that is familiar but fresh.
19 Twenty hit the stage like a runaway freight train — loud, fast, and impossible to ignore. Fusing blistering blues with roots grit, rock ’n’ roll swagger, and foot-stomping rhythms, the band delivers a live show that’s equal parts raw power and pure fun. This is music that grabs you by the collar and dares you to stand still.
Renowned for their explosive performances, 19-Twenty turn every room into a sweat-soaked, high-energy celebration. Whether it’s a packed festival field or a heaving club floor, their shows are driven by thunderous grooves, scorching guitar work, and a relentless rhythm section that keeps audiences moving from the first note to the last.
A relentless touring force, 19 Twenty have carved out a reputation as one of Australia’s most electrifying live acts. They’ve ignited stages at Byron Bay Bluesfest, Woodford Folk Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Blues on Broadbeach, and more than 70 festivals nationwide, sharing bills with iconic artists and winning fans wherever they play.
Across their releases, the band captures the same untamed spirit that defines their live shows — gritty, dynamic, and unapologetically energetic.
Their songs channel life on the road, love, loss, and late-night stories into hooks that hit hard and linger long after the final chord.
At the heart of it all, 19-Twenty are built for the stage. Fueled by chemistry, charisma, and a love of performance, they don’t just play shows — they create experiences. If you’re chasing a night of sweat, smiles, and seriously high-voltage blues and roots, 19-Twenty deliver every time.

Their storytelling leans into themes of regional identity, love, loneliness, materialism, and hope — all wrapped in earthy melodies and honest lyrics.
Holly and Lottie's unique vocal chemistry, paired with Harley’s extraordinary drumming and Kyle’s grounded rhythms, creates a sound that feels both authentic and unforgettable.
Local 5-piece Faves from Narrogin blending Pop, Indie & Folk

Dolce Blue (pron. Dolchay Blue) are purveyors of melancholic elegance, weaving alt-pop and indie-rock into songs that linger like smoke curling through a dimly lit lounge.
Their music balances sweetness with sorrow, pairing heartfelt lyricism with melodies
that shimmer and seduce.
With airplay across the nation from the likes of Triple J unearthed, 4ZZZ, 2SER, PBS, Radio Adelaide, featured tracks and an album on
RTRFM, and praise from Vents Magazine as “a special songwriting force,” Dolce Blue
have become one of WA’s most captivating exports.
A band destined to soundtrack both
heartbreak and its slow recovery.
Navisha is an emerging artist based in Perth, Australia. Fusing funk energy with soulful
vocals, she has performed across the city’s live music scene with her dynamic six-piece
band over the past year.
A defining milestone in her career came when her music reached the top of the AMRAP Charts, marking national recognition within Australia’s
independent music community. The achievement reflected strong support from community radio stations across the country and highlighted her growing impact as an independent artist.
Navisha’s vocal style balances softness and strength, allowing her to move effortlessly between intimate, heartfelt ballads and bold, rhythm-driven tracks.
Grounded in authenticity and driven by artistic growth, she continues to refine her sound while building meaningful connections with her audience.

Singer, Songwriter & Muso Duo hailing from Narrogin
Russell Gooley is a singer, songwriter and musician who has been around the music scene for most of his life.
The Narrogin boy showcased his great voice and extensive repertoire in the very first season of X factor, coming runner up to Random.
His music has since expanded into many different areas. Together with his muso mate Matt, they bring a chilled rock vibe to the festival
Equal parts hopeless and romantic, Hazelmead emerged from her room in 2020 with poetry in her mouth and her mother’s guitar singing about the films behind her eyes.
Part of the DIY scene since the beginning, she released her self-produced debut
album, ‘Somewhere in North America’ in November 2025, immersing us in a world of
girlhood, coming of age and poignant introspection under the lace of nostalgic
Americana.
Originally inspired by her experiences travelling and residing throughout the
United States and Canada during 2023 (garnering the project’s title), Hazelmead
explores her deep fascination with the American mythos and its stark contrast with the current landscape.
With her voice as ethereal as it is moody, Hazelmead displays a range of lyrical prowess within her compositions and we can't wait to see her take the stage at Cuby GrooveFest!
