About the event
The Shire of Cuballing is a higgen gem in Southern WA and a source of creative inspiration! The Cuballing Art Prize is a biennial exhibition celebrating the creativity of our regional community.
This year the theme for the Cuby Art Prize is 'Light, Love and Laughter' - an opportunity for creatives to bring light into the room amidst challenging times across the globe.
We welcome entries from people of all ages and artistic backgrounds, using any medium. All works will be showcased in this one day exhibition with the opportunity to purchase - 10% of any sales will be donated to Arts Narrogin who are supporting this event. Keen to enter? Categories and Classes
Category – Adult
· Class 1: Painting – Acrylic/Oil/Watercolour.
· Class 2: Dry Media – Charcoal/Pastel/Pencil/ Any other drawing medium.
· Class 3: Open – any other medium listed above, including mixed media. Category - Youth
· Class 4: Youth under 16 years of age
Prizes
Class 1: Winner $500.00, Runner Up $100.00 (including $50.00 Voucher).
Class 2: Winner $500.00, Runner Up $100.00 (including $50.00 Voucher).
Class 3: Winner $500.00, Runner Up $100.00 (including $50.00 Voucher).
Class 4: Winner $150.00, Runner Up $50.00
People’s Choice: $300.00
People’s Choice Award
All entries will be eligible for a people’s choice award and entered automatically. Votes for People’s Choice will be collected throughout the exhibition day, and winners will be announced on social media after the conclusion of the Cuby GrooveFest.
