ABOUT ERIN

Hello, I’m Erin! I am a mum of two young kids and an experienced primary school teacher.  I am passionate about allowing children to develop at their own pace as each child is unique and learns differently.

I started Outdoor Creators because I believe learning doesn’t need to stay inside four walls. I wanted to take learning outdoors, under the trees and in the fresh air, where children (and their grown-ups) can connect, learn, create and explore together.

Research shows that many of us, children and adults alike, aren’t spending enough time outside or connecting with the natural environment. Being outdoors supports wellbeing, sparks curiosity, and brings so much joy to our lives.

The sessions I create are calm, inclusive and welcoming. They’re designed to nurture connection between children and their grown-ups, between families, and with the world around us. Every activity is grounded in research and built around the simple magic of exploration, creativity, and play.
